Hello, dear Parishioners.
I came back on Saturday, 30th September, after a great visit with my family in Nigeria. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers before and during my overseas travels: they were very helpful at every step of the trip.
Not everyone of you knows I am a Jubilarian this year.
On July 18, 2023, I turned 25 years as a Priest of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, where I have served 10 years in Nigeria and 15 years in the United States.
My family and I would never take for granted the graces, opportunities, and blessings received through my ministry in God’s vineyard these past twenty-five years. We are, therefore, most grateful to the Blessed Trinity and to the Blessed Virgin Mary for the gift, guidance, and protection of my Ministerial Priesthood.
I am deeply indebted to you for the various ways you have strengthened me and supported my priestly ministry in Buffalo: your love, kindness, and friendliness are inestimable and will always be remembered with joy.
The priestly life cannot just be meaningful, enjoyable or fruitful without people like you; it cannot just be wonderful without those kinds of good things you do to support me and my brother-priests on a regular basis. Please be certain of my profound appreciation for your great love and faith, and also, of my commitment to bless you and your family at Mass every day.
To mark the event of my Silver Jubilee of ordination to the Priesthood, I will be celebrating a Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Blessed Sacrament Church, Tonawanda. This Holy Mass will begin at 11:00 am and will be served by the adult choir of BSC. I am so excited about offering this Thanksgiving Mass with you, who have journeyed with me this far.
With that said, I would love to invite each and every one of you to join me for my Jubilee Mass and also, to attend a reception at the BSC Parish Center (the Blue Building) after Mass.
Yes, I will appreciate your spiritual and physical presence at this milestone event. Once again, thank you for being a channel of blessings. Thank you for considering coming to share in my joy.
I wish you joy and good health this Fall.
God is good all the Time…
