To be a Sponsor for Baptism or Confirmation, individuals must fulfill the responsibilities and obligations Church Law requires:
- Have received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist).
- If married, marriage must be recognized by the Catholic Church.
- Attend Mass and receive Communion regularly.
- Be an Active Parishioner for at least the past three months
- An Active Parishioner is one who is enrolled on the Parish Census Files and supports the Sunday Offertory.
