Thoughts from Sr. Lucette 12/27/20

As we continue to celebrate this wonderful season of Christmas, we honor the Holy Family.  Jesus’ mother, Mary, and his foster father, Joseph, each trusted in the Lord when they accepted the unique start to their family.  Their family life from the beginning faced many obstacles and challenges.  May our families share these bonds of love, enabling us to face hardships and sorrows in life.
Eucharist Adoration on Thursday, Dec. 31st will finish at 3:00 pm due to the Vigil Masses at 4:00 pm and 9:30 am.
On January 1st we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.  For this Holy Day of Obligation there will be a Vigil Mass on Dec. 31st at 4:00 pm and the Mass for  January 1st will be at 8:00 am.
We are now Live-Streaming all of our Masses. (Please see page 5 of the bulletin) We appreciate the efforts of the following who made this a reality: Ken Fick, Jay Cerkiewicz, Bob O’Keefe, James Pritchard, Two Anonymous Donors.

As we continue to celebrate the Christmas season, all the priests and staff wish everyone a blessed and a graced New Year.  Let us give thanks for our blessings and even life’s challenges as these can strengthen our love and relationship with Jesus. Continue to grow in faith and  remain close to the Lord in 2021.
