St. Faustina’s Gate “Food Pantry”

Father Cotter Hall
Office Hours 11:00 – 2:00
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Our monthly non-perishable food collection is awesome! The donations go immediately on the shelves at St. Faustina’s Gate, our parish food pantry serving families in the Ken-Ton community. The pantry also welcomes donations of any type of non-perishable foods each day, every day—the garden bench at the chapel entrance of church is utilized for donations, or they can be dropped off at Father Cotter Hall Monday through Friday from 8 am – 4 pm.

St. Faustina’s Gate has grown over the past six years and volunteers from the parish have ensured that the ministry operates without fail. In addition to the volunteer staff that operates the pantry, we also have individuals willing to shop (with donated money) to help fill the shelves and those who bring a little muscle on days that Food Bank deliveries arrive to help unload the truck. The pantry can always use extra help – if you’d like to help in any of these areas, stop by or call 716-837-2544 on Wednesdays between 11 am and 2 pm and our tireless director, Gloria, will be happy to explore options with you.

Our food pantry, St. Faustina’s Gate, is an important resource in our Ken-Ton community for those who struggle to provide nutritious meals for themselves and their families. The pantry routinely fulfills 100+ requests for food each and every month. Thank you to the dedicated team of volunteers who provide compassionate service to these families each week. Additionally, sincere appreciation goes out the people who support the pantry with monetary donations and to the many people who participate in “Yes We Can”.

I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Matthew 25:35-36
