During this holy season of Lent we often heard the psalm response, “Create a clean heart in me, O God”.
Our Lord calls us to conversion of the heart. Others can show us the way, but it is up to us to commit to Christ and his mission. Yes, we are called to be followers of Christ, obedient to him, and to act upon his Word. As we approach the days in which we remember Jesus’ suffering and death, we ask ourselves:
~ Are we willing to die to sin and live faithfully, selflessly, and courageously in the Lord?
~ Are we willing to let go of all that hinders us from a deep and loving relationship with the Lord?
~ Are we able to take stock of our lives and seriously prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation?
You will have the graced opportunity to ready your mind and heart to receive God’s mercy and love this
Monday, March 22nd at 7:00 pm. Several priests will be present to help you celebrate this Sacrament. What will your response be? Now is the time for God to “Create a clean heart” in each one of us.
