Thoughts from Sr. Lucette 1/17/21

With the Christmas season officially behind us, we now enter into five weeks of Ordinary Time.  Yet, it is in the days of our ordinary lives, that God does invite us to be his disciples and build his Kingdom.

This search and invitation can be welcoming and intriguing: “What are you looking for?” and “Come and you will see”. The Scripture readings of today challenge us to discern the Lord’s call among the many voices we hear in our day and in our lives.  Let us take the time, during our ordinary days and nights, to discover what we really are looking for in our lives.   We pray that we will see, with faith, the Lord working in the ordinary-ness of all our moments. He continues to be with us, “Emmanuel”.

This Friday, January 22nd on the anniversary of Roe v Wade, you are invited to join us for the 6:30 pm Rosary for Life and for Mass at 7:00 pm celebrated by Fr. Matt Nycz.  This Mass will also be Live-Streamed.
