Pastor’s Note 10/4/20

With the changing weather this fall, we will go inside the church for the 11:00 am “Lawn Mass,” starting this Sunday, October 4th.  The Drive-in Mass will be celebrated outside at 9:00 am, weather permitting this Sunday, October 4th.
Attendance at all Sunday Masses is still optional in our diocese.
All people with compromised immune systems should take Covid-19 precautions very seriously, boost their natural immune system, and consider whether physically attending the Mass at this time is best aligned with God’s will for them.
Currently, we have a 40-Hour Eucharistic Adoration at our parish starting on Wednesdays at 6:00 am, until 10:00 pm Thursdays.  To sign up for daytime Tuesday or any other day, please call or send a note to Janet Meyer at 313-8143 or janetmeyer4@gmail.com.   It may take a long while before other days are filled and open for adoration.

The annual Life Chain is held this Sunday, October 4th at 2-3 pm at Niagara Falls Blvd at Longmeadow Dr.  Our parish group will meet at 1:30 pm at Father Cotter Hall for prayer and to pick-up pro-life signs.  Consider joining us to prayerfully and peacefully protest the grave moral evil of abortion.

A Holy Hour in honor of St. Faustina on her Feast Day will be held at our main church this Monday, October 5th, 6:30-7:30 pm.  It will consist of Eucharistic Adoration, readings, homily, devotional prayers, and silent meditation.  Printed programs will be available at the entrance. All are welcome. Masks and physical distancing are required.
