Catholic Charities Appeal continues. When donating to it, please remember to include in the memo our parish number “0507.” Thank you for your support of this needed cause.
We invite people to submit or resubmit the names of the seriously chronically sick or terminally ill or requiring general anesthesia for surgery so that the bulletin’s “Praying for the Sick” list will be fully “resurrected” by Easter. Please contact the Parish Office, by emailing email@example.com or by calling 834-4282.
The 3rd Vicariate Lenten Journey session will be held next Monday, March 16th, at St. Aloysius Church on Cleveland Dr. in Cheektowaga, at 7:30 pm. Rick Paolini will be speaking about Divine Mercy.
Parish Lenten Be My Witness retreat, led by our parishioner and K-4 Faith Formation Coordinator Lucy Stanton, continues this Thursday at 6:30 pm in the Parish Center. We invite all to participate.
This Lent and Easter seasons, we invite all to a weekly docu-series Christ Revealed about Our Lord Jesus Christ. Dr. Patrick Gentempo and Gretchen Jensen are the co-hosts. In Episode Three we are going to hear two interviews: The first is with Amir Tsarfati; he makes a very important point about the idea of relationship – not ritual, not religion, but a relationship with Jesus. The second interview is with J. Warner Wallace; he discusses the proofs of the Resurrection of Christ. All episodes are viewed on a large screen on Tuesdays at 6:15-8:15 pm in Fr Cotter Hall.
Parish Penance Service will be held this Monday, March 16, at 6:15 pm at church.
Please see Blessed Sacrament Parish’s current policy and action steps on the Corona Virus Prevention on page 4 of the bulletin. More details and a Q & A will be offered on Friday, March 20th at 6:30 pm, before the 7:00 pm Sung Stations at church. All are welcome.
