“Healing and Liberating of Body and Soul Through Fasting”
This topic is open to men, women, and teens. The Church traditionally says there are three things we ought to do during Lent: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
Western culture, including the Catholic Church, has practically forgotten the life-giving spiritual practice of fasting from food. Come and hear what the Old Testament, New Testament, saints, and latest science say about the physical and spiritual benefits of traditional water and bread, and modern intermittent fasting. Get a recipe for, and taste the actual great tasting, life-sustaining, fasting bread – according to a method from Medjugorje. Be inspired to journey through Lent, bringing healing to the body, clarity to the mind, and peace and joy to the heart by Easter.
