Legion of Mary News

The Legion of Mary would like to thank parishioners and friends who donated Nativity sets. The Nativity sets were beautifully wrapped with ribbons and bows and were gifted to our Faith Formation Students, Grades K-4 on Sunday, December 15th. The students unwrapped each figure with care. Many smiles were seen. Each set was different, but the same.
All Nativity sets were accompanied by a short prayer; it goes as follows:
How much you love us, Gentle God! We see in this Christmas crib that you sent your precious Son, Jesus, to become one of us, born as a baby and laid in a lowly manager in Bethlehem. Mary and Joseph were welcomed to the stable by the lambs and cows who breathed warmth on them that cold night. Shepherds bowed in awe before them at the wonder of Jesus’ birth. May the star of Bethlehem now stand guard over our home with light and peace and give hope to people everywhere. Amen.
The Legion of Mary wishes all parishioners and staff at Blessed Sacrament a very Blessed Christmas Season and New Year. Thank you!
