A great thank you to the coordinator Jane Rozek and all volunteers and supporters of last weekend’s St. Nick Nite, our parish’s largest annual fundraising event. Please mark your calendars for the next year’s event on the 1st Saturday of December 2020.
Last year the Fundraising Committee decided to start Breakfast with Santa as a way to welcome and involve more young families and their children at our parish. All are invited to again attend The Breakfast next Sunday, December 22nd, before and after the 10:00 am Mass. It will be held in Father Cotter Hall. Tickets are sold after masses this weekend and at the parish office.
A monthly Family Mass is celebrated at the 10:00 am Mass this Sunday, December 15th. Faith Formation Confessions will be celebrated on the same day from 9:00-9:45 am at the chapel. Following the Family Mass all are invited to the Parish Center for a Parish Social.
Advent parish Penance Service will be celebrated this Monday, December 16th at 6:30 pm. Additional seasonal Confessions will also be heard on Wednesday, Dec. 18th, at 8:30 – 8:50 am and 5:30-6:00 pm in the church’s crying room (face-to-face). At the same time the Eucharistic Adoration will continue in the Divine Mercy Chapel. All are welcome to stay for the Benediction at 6:10 pm, followed by the evening Mass at 6:15 pm.
Over 65 people have already registered for the Divine Mercy Cenacle small Christian community group formation sessions, including several guests from over ten other area parishes. We now offer six study groups on different days ready for any adult to join in. See more details and the registration form on page 4. Feel free to come for one meeting to audit without registering.
