ALL Saints & All Souls

All Saints…

We celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints, remembering all saints known and unknown to us who  enjoy the glory of heaven. It is a Holy Day of  Obligation; the Vigil Mass is are on Wednesday, October  31st at  4 pm, and on the Holy Day, Thursday, November 1st, at 8 am and 6:30 pm.

All Souls, Book of Remembrance, and All Souls Novena…

During the month of November we call to mind all the Souls in Purgatory, and those who have gone before us and have had a  significant place in our lives. You are invited to write their names in the All Souls Book of Remembrance found in the middle aisle of the Church.  All these persons will be remembered at the All Souls Day Mass on November 2nd and the Masses in the month of November.  Special All Souls Novena of Masses will be celebrated for the intentions of all those whose names are inscribed on the All Souls envelopes.

The belief that our prayers can be of assistance to the deceased is a treasured tenet of our Catholic faith. On Friday,  November 2nd, a special Mass of Remembrance will be      celebrated at 6:30 pm. Come and remember in prayer family and friends who have gone home to the Lord.
