Pastor’s E-Note August 26, 2018

Parish Pictorial Directories can be picked up at the
parish office by participating families, one free book per
family. Those who missed the opportunity to be part of this
directory project can put their names on the waiting list for an
updated version to be printed hopefully in 2019.
As it was already announced in the previous weeks, upon
an extensive discussion and consultation with the Parish
Pastoral Council and their full and unanimous recommendation,
anticipating adjustments to number of Masses at other
area parishes later in the year, we will merge the 9:00 am
and 11:00 am Masses into one Mass at 10:00 am on
Sunday, September 9, 2018, after Labor Day. The
Saturday 4:00 PM and the Sunday 7:30 AM Masses will
remain unchanged.

Please welcome Fr. Jim Croglio celebrating the 11:00
am Mass and Msgr. McCarthy celebrating the other three
Masses and Confessions this weekend at our parish. I have
been invited to be the main celebrant for a special Polish
Mass with a homily and to hear Confessions in Polish on the
feast day of Our Lady of Czestochowa on Aug. 26th in
Charlotte, NC. I promise to include all the BSC parishioners
in my prayers.

Fr. Matt
